28 degrees today

when I arrived.
My count went straight to 8 fish, courtesy of the rock and the hole above the curve. That is the good news. The bad news is, I got 2 more fish after that, and it took me 4 more hrs to do that.
The story of the day was at the lower quad bridge, I hooked about a 19-20 in rainbow. As I was netting him the flies, yes flies, popped out of his moth. My egg pattern was actually stuck in a sage bugger that was stuck in his mouth. Either Steve or I lost this fish before. I lost the fish today too, but at least he swam away with no flies attached in him. I couldn’t net him because my eyes were too frozen to get him in the net. All in all a happy ending for him.
I have yet to hit a lunker, not seeing my big friend at the rock. Did see a biggie at the walking bridge, but could not get him to even take a look at any of my offerings.
