again to try for the big one. Caught five fish there one after another and then proceeded to practically cut my hand off on a fall. After getting bandaged up I returned to pursue the big guy…. and…. I finally got him to hit a size 12 sucker spawn. Al snapped a pic of him and I was very pleased to finally get that guy. He was 23″.
From there I went to the lower quad bridge and caught a biggie there that was even bigger than the first one.
The creek was just perfect today and I could not even guess how many fish I caught today, the action was steady all day long. My best day of the season to date by far. Another big fish got off for me at the end of the afternoon, but all in all it was a great day at Yellow.
