Started

at Little Sandy to see if there were any breeder palominos left.  And there were.  Spent 3 hrs trying to get them, to no avail.  Did catch some small bo’s, brookies, and even a smallmouth, but I turned my attention to the club and drove there.

Got there at noon and went to the lower quad bridge and picked up a couple of nice rainbows.  But the first story of the day is the fish I saw spawning above the curve.  Two big rainbows were fanning silt, etc and preparing spawn beds.  Steve will try to film this at a later time.  So cool!

Story 2 was the tan caddis I saw all over my truck and the black stoneflies hatching on the creek.  Gotta be good water quality.

The last story was the 23″ bow I caught to end the day.  A pic is coming.
