the fly project at Brookville.
Started out with 3 quick fish and then hit a semi drought for a half hour. The air temp was below 20 degrees, and then the sun came up. When it did the creek turned on, and I mean turned on.
If I cast, and missed a fish, another would take the fly before it moved another foot. I caught so many fish it was unreal. I had solid action for 4 hours catching one after another. The largest was an 18″ brookie, but many were around a foot or so long. The steady action more than made up for the lack of size.
The fly of the day was a black ghost streamer, as I used 8 of them and all were so beat up I had to throw them away. I can’t remember a day on public water as good as this one as far as numbers go. Wow!brookbrn
