This guy fished the creek for 8 hours in really tough conditions. He managed to hook up some really nice fish. I am really, really impressed with his “stick-to-itness” that Ryan showed on this day. This fisherman can fish with me any day. I must comment on his dad’s patience, guidance, and love as well. The Lacinski’s all rock when it comes to fly fishing. Congratulations Ryan on your inagural trip, which I hope turns to many more trips to come.

3.6 flow and 30 degrees
Went to Yellow and the creek was smokin. Good color though and we did manage to catch some fish. This bow was caught on a huge sucker spawn above the lower quad bridge. Al netted the fish for me and nephew Dan snapped the photo. I will post a photo of grandnephew Ryan who fished the creek for the first time.
Surprise Pic
Stocked some really nice fish at the club this week. A member found this pic of me in a Pa fishing/hunting mag. Thought I would throw it on the blog for the fun of it
The fishing was a little tough due to high/stained water conditions. Managed to catch some, lose a couple of biggies, but nothing worth pulling the camera out for. Don’t get me wrong, any of the fish I caught would be a bragger on open water. The fish at the club are just so awesome in comparison.
Curve, still my favorite spot.
Went to the club with Al, minus Dan and Sean , on Saturday. Got this guy and another big fish below the quad bridge. Glad I brought a net. The highlight of the day was watching an otter swimming around the curve. We saw a ton of deer there too.
The girth of these fish are really impressive. Did not hook my Moby Dick today…..bummer.
Gonna update the yahoo site later today.
Tuesday Fishing
Went to the club to get the big one that’s been eluding me. Al has gotten that beauty twice. Wish I was posting a picture of that big bow, but, I will have to settle for a picture of this one. Got this guy above the boulder hole on a bugger. Got another huge fish above the lower quad bridge, and yet another one below the upper quad bridge. I’ll get that big guy yet (I hope).
