Sean’s First

trout at the club. Sean and Dan are shown here landing Sean’s first fish of what I am sure will be many at the club. The conditions were tough that day and checking the water this A.M. shows the creek is really smokin’ due to the vast amount of rain.
Sean will be a really great fisherman because he is so persistent and he absorbs everything he is shown. He casts like a pro. Any one who arrives at the creek with his boots on is #1 in my book. Congratulations, Sean.

Jan 13th

Went to the club and the weather was rainy, and I mean rainy. Got this bow at the boulder hole, thanks to Dan. If he hadn’t netted this fish I never would/could have landed it. Thanks a million, buddy. It weighed in at 8.5 lbs. This guy fell for a streamer. Al also picked up a really nice fish above the quad bridge. Dan cranked them on a crayfish pattern. My next trip up I too will be carrying that new pattern. He put on a clinic with that fly on a really tough day of fishing.

January Stocking

Steve put in nearly 200 more fish the first week of January. After the stocking I fished the creek the next day. Managed 5 fish over 20″. This bruiser was caught above the curve. Got two more at the curve and one more lunker below the lower quad bridge. The day before, Phil and I caught a bunch at the top of the property.

Big Bow on 1/1/07

This is a 26″ bow I caught on New Year’s Day…Been a while since I updated the blog. Be sure to stop by on my yahoo page for photo’s….Be sure to check out “all my pic’s” to see a lot more fish photo’s. The creek will be stocked on Thursday the 4th. Heading back on the 5th or sixth.
Picked up a 23″ brown on this day as well. Will upload pic’s as soon as Al sends them.

Really Large Rainbow

Got this big bow, a large brown, and lost another 20+ inch fish at the club on Sunday. I had perhaps my best day ever in terms of numbers caught that I can remember. The water was a little low, but the fish hit anything you threw into the water. It was an awesome day. Remember the distance from the butt cap to the cork is 11″. This fish is a monster. Look at the girth.
