Again, the water a “little” on the high side. No other anglers at the club, despite near perfect water/weather. No really big fish caught, but, plenty of action mostly on a yellow egg imitation. Saw some nice deer on the way to the stream.

Managed a dozen fish today at the club. The water was really high, but fishable. When the water returns to a lower level, the fishing will definitely improve. I used enough split shot to sink a battleship today, and still had a hard time hitting the bottom. Nathan was on the stream with Al and I. It is always more fun when he is on the stream.

Here is another fish I picked up at the lower end of the Legion Hole. It took me a long time to land this one. As they say, you should have seen the ones that got away.

Went to Erie with Frank. We really hooked a ton of fish. Notice I said hooked. I had some line breakage, and just had a lot of hooks pop out of fish. We had a blast and many, many fish were being caught on a multitude of baits. I would rate the day a solid “A”.

I forgot to put my card in the camera on Sunday. So, I thought I would put up a pic of Al at Kinzua Creek. Man, I hope we get back to there this spring. The fishing/scenery there are awesome. Heading to Erie in the a.m. with Frank. Hope I get some good pic’s and hope my camera is ready to go.
