Another Palamino

This is another palamino I caught just outside of Brookeville on the opening day. Just waiting for some rain and the temps to drop (water), and for the first fall stocking at the club.

Steve, the club president

Here is a picture of Steve stocking a fish at the club. On one stocking we put 8 fish in one location that were 20 plus inches. The creek is abundant with large fish. On any cast, an angler can expect to catch a really large trout

Waiting for Weather

Here is a picture from a typical Yellow Creek day for us. I am posting this while waiting for the dog days of August to end. When the water temps drop we will start fishing at the club again. The coldest day we had was -8 and I would suspect the wind chill put it at -12, -13 that day. We dress for the weather, and prepare our tackle for extreme cold, so we spent the better part of the day there, and had the place to ourselves. I think I caught one more fish than Al that day if my memory serves me well.

Fishing Tournament 06

Every year there is a tournament at the club. This is a picture of our team this past year. The weather and fishing couldn’t have been better. The club did such a great job of stocking for the event, the food was out of this world, and a great time was had by all. Can’t wait till May of 07 to do it again.

A nice brown trout

I picked up this brown just before spring of this year. You can see the walking bridge behind me. This hole is just below the pavillion. During the summer a guy could swim below this bridge. This hole, like all the rest is dynamite.
