Steve put in another 200 fish in the Yellow Creek Trout club. After the stocking, fishing buddy, John and I fished the 22 degree weather and the perfect 10 creek. Glad we did.

The hole above the curve was just full of cooperative fish. Should have seen the one that got away. Lost a monster bow there.

Steve Renosky did something different and new this time. Smaller fish around 5 to 7 inches were added to the trib that flows into the club at the pavillion. Can’t wait to see the results of this endeavor. Always something new going on there and the number of fish in the stream grows monthly in leaps and bounds. Though a little high, check out the great color and flow of the stream. A piece of heaven on earth.

Was in Erie this past week but I could not find any fish-able water. The rain in NY has been really incredible this fall.
With the high and cold water, the carp fishing was tough. Did manage this one that I was assisted by with the guy in the picture. My TFO 12 weight handled the fish really well.
After that I helped a family from Penn State land what they called the biggest trout of their lives. What else can you expect from the Yellow Creek Trout Club?
Was plesantly surprised at the great condition the water was in with the cold temps and good flow for August.

Man, it was hot today!
Only guy there and started out at the Straight Stretch. I hooked 6 fish there, and landed 3.
Next stop was the boulder hole. Hooked 2 there and landed one.
Saw some healthy trout at the boulder hole and with the hot weather that was a welcome sight. Heading back on Sunday to help Steve guide.
