Met Dan, Alec, and Al

at the club.  Bad roads on the way, but well worth the trip.

I started out with 2 fish near 20, then hit a dry spell.  Mt final count was 7, but it took me around 3 hrs to get the other 5 fish.  The conditions were perfect, but, as Al would say….”it is what it is”.

Alec caught a few, including this one on vid, Dan got around five and Al, the same.

Paul had the food going, as did Steve.  The beauty of the club surpassed everything, though.  My God, it was just gorgeous there yesterday.

Happy New Year

got the first trout of 2015 around 7 AM.

Proceeded to meet Dan, Sean, and Mandy at the lower quad bridge and helped get Mandy into her first trout ever.  Later that day, she and Sean netted a huge fish above the curve.  In the same spot, Dan hooked a beauty on his white bugger.

Went to the pavilion and had some good food, good drink, with good friends.

Though cold, a great way to start 15…..check out the video.

Unexpected nice weather

got us to the club, us being Sean, Dan, and Mike.

Sean and i started at the lower quad bridge where these beauties were picked up.

We did catch fish, but they did not jump in the creel.  We fished the entire property stretch and although catching fish, we did not set the world on fire.  There were  a lot of guys there that day and the day before.  I think fishing pressure had a lot to do with our success.

Dan and Mike got some fish on buggers and sucker spawn.  Let’s see if things improve on new years day.DSC00688saturdaybow

Went to the club

with Dan and Sean and we did fairly well.

This big one was the second fish caught and Dan picked up another 20 inch fish about an hour later.  The creek was perfect today….green color, good flow, though the weather was a little chilly.

Got a great morning of fishing in with 2 guys I truly love and capped the day off with a nice gift from Dan and another great gift from buddy,  Steve.  Will post pics of the gifts next entry. seansbow
