Slower Day

But still productive.  Landed around 10 today.  I don’t know why I get there so early.  The fishing doesn’t get good until 10 a.m. or so.  The carp are getting smarter by the trip, but still managed to land most of the fish I hooked, considering I started 1 for 4.

Tooty

We lost a great friend, fellow angler, and one super guy this week.

Dan was one of the members of the Yellow Creek Trout Club who I had the great pleasure of knowing.  He was the most generous person I ever met.  He and his companion Gracie (his pooch) were two of the most beloved members of the club, and Tooty was loved and respected by all who knew him.  His harmonica, guitars, and vocals provided us with great entertainment when we gathered at the pavilion when we took a break from fishing.  He loved fishing, the outdoors, and especially enjoyed the camaraderie that the trout club offers.

His memory will live on in all of our hearts.  Tight lines, Tooty and God bless you and yours.  You will be missed, but never forgotten.  Till we fish again….tootyfix
