We put in 375 fish on Friday. Mostly 12″ browns and hardy rainbows. Today I went up to fish for them with YCTC President, Steve.
My first fish was a 20″ rainbow, followed by a lot of the smaller fish we put in on Friday. The highlight of the day was the walleyes we caught at the last wooden dam and you can see one pictured (underwater) that we picked up. This fish had 4 bluegill in him!
There, we saw a 20+ inch rainbow jump the dam, which was pretty cool.
At the end of the day I caught in the mid to high teens, and I will take that any day of the week.
at the club and landed 5 fish over 20″ today. The creek and fish were in great shape despite the heat. Here is a pic from my phone, but this vid was sent to me today by buddy Steve, so enjoy.
the Yellow Creek Trout Club is great for smallmouth and carp action in the summer? If not, it is! This beauty was caught just last week from the club waters.
When he got there we started off with a 20″ tiger and a 20″ brook just below the red bridge. We proceeded to go down the creek knocking off fish in every hole we fished.
At the grate there was an angler named Bill who asked me to cast his bamboo rod. Bang! I got a 22″ fish on his rod.
As we ventured down to the last wooden dam, we put on a fishing clinic.
This video is just one of the many fish we caught and landed. All kidding aside, I lost at least 8 fish over 20 today!
If you go onto YouTube and check out my video lists you can watch 3 videos from today. It was one of my most fun fishing trips ever at the club. A simply awesome day.
