Dan and I went to the club in an all day rain. Sean was the man today catching a whopper bow above the curve and a monster brown below the lower quad bridge. My fish and Sean’s bow were hooked at the same time, but both his fish were bigger than the bow I got. Dan nailed them on a “worm” and lost a few that were in the lunker class. My pc is on the fritz and I am doing this on a net book, so sending pic’s might be tough via email. So for now enjoy the pic’s on this blog.<

Happy New Year
went to the club (braving a lot of snow) and met Dan, Sean, and Alec.
Started out in the lower quad bridge and struggled to get the first one in the net as did all of the anglers today. When we did break the ice the fishing did pick up. Sean and I both lost some beauties, as did Dan.
Dan hit a good streak above the curve and got a 20″ and an 18″ there.
My last 2 were a 22″ and an 18″ bow.
Dan made the best deer meat I ever ate and man did it hit the spot after 6 hrs of fishing in sub freezing temp’s.
Merry Christmas
spent the day with Dan and Sean at the club. Caught over 25 between us. Sean had 3 casts and 3 fish above the curve. Dan got this beautiful brookie above the lower quad bridge. Mine came from the curve and above it.
The weather was great, the water was perfect, and now we are off to celebrate Christmas eve with the family.
It doesn’t get any better than this…………..Merry Christmas and may your lines be tight in the New Year.
The weather
was horrendous and the driving conditions were bad, so what did I do on Sun?…. go to the club and fish.
It rained the entire time, but I did get into some fish. The water was high and the creek murky, but I did manage to catch 11 fish, losing 2 really nice ones due to not getting a good hook set. Of course no one else was there. Not the best pic, but in all that rain I was lucky to get that.
Having stocked
I hit the creek at dawn and caught this big bow (holding) while it was still dark. I got this “football” bow below the new dam and the other big bow below the lower quad bridge. I wanted to fish more, but cut my hand pretty bad in a fall, so i had to call it a day. I did not catch a lot of the fresh stockers, so the door is wide open for the next guys that get there. Sean got a six point, Dan was with him, and Al couldn’t make it today. They’ll get them tomorrow (Sun)….Would have taken more pic’s, but my battery went dead. wish i got a pic of another nice bow and brownie i got today….Oh, well
