a great way to end the day………….

Met Tom
at the club and found out he works for Bob FM.
Gave him a few flies and a few tips about the club and he got his first fish, a nice bow at the curve. Got a beaut above the curve and ended the day with a monster at Al’s rock.
Dan got him in the morning, but dropped him before we got a pic.
Banner day as I
got 5 over 20……Water, weather, all perfect. The fish were very active. Every one was catching fish.
Oregon cheese was the ticket in a size 14. Got one at Al’s rock, one at the boulder hole, one above the lower quad bridge, one at the curve, and another 20″ above the curve. I couldn’t guess the total caught in all. Started at 12 degrees and ended at 50. Check out the new spec’s.
Ignore the date, i don’t know what’s up with that
Monster day
at the club, as we all caught a fish over 20. Al got the big brown above the quad bridge Dan caught a huge bow at the honey bugger hole. Sean got a monster bow below the lower quad bridge. I caught a whopper in the same hole that Al got his.
Saw Steve at the sports’ show in Pittsburgh and saw a lot of action at the YCTC booth. If people could only see what we caught on Yellow this weekend it would defy their imaginations!
It snowed
and snowed and snowed on the way to Erie. Driving was tough. Got there and found the “secret hole” blown out. After calling Dan I went to the nut and found a guy there hooked up. He invited me to join him, which I did. I hooked up 6 fish in about an hour, and then the slush came. After fighting snow, slush, and COLD I thought I should pack it in and call it a day. There are so many fish in Erie, that even under these horrendous conditions I saw at least 15 hook ups.
