Steve and I hit the club and the cicadas were on the water and the trout were really hitting them. We caught fish on the top in every area we fished. An occasional downpour did not put a damper on the creek flow or our enthusiasm in fishing this once , maybe twice event. Here are some pics of the fish we got.

caught this beauty and 7 or 8 others…………..but…………….
Again, lost a monster I had on the shore. Entangled in the line. He flopped, kicked, and off he went.
Cicadas were every where but did not see trout hitting them.
Water is warming and I will be switching to carp soon.
known this guy for 51 years…and counting
met up with college roommate and his brother at the club. Catching fish was great with these 2 guys, but just seeing Bob and Jack again was what this trip was all about.
Perfect
weather, water, and just great conditions today at the Yellow Creek Trout Club.
The boulder hole was the most productive and the size 16 blood dot did the job.
The straight stretch provided the biggest bow pictured and the upper end is where I nailed the other 2 fish pictured.
I was amazed at the amount of fish below the step dam. Gonna hit that stretch hard next time up.
The tournament was a bust for me.
I managed 1 fish and lost 7 or 8 at the black hole. My partners, Al, Nate, and Dan fared much better, but I just couldn’t get it together.
After the tournament I did manage to catch these two beauties, but too little too late for me.
