Sean

joined the lunker club with a beaut at the step dam.

Trooper Dan managed to get quite  few fish even though he had surgery this week.  Al left a little early, so I caught a ride with Dan.s1

Got this nice brook and had a field day at the sunken dock.  Great friends, lots of laughs, and delicious stew all made this a great day on the creek.

Stocked today

s3and fished for 3 plus hours before we did.

Never saw the creek look nicer.  Emerald green, but you had vis to near the bottom in most places.

I caught 5 fish over 20 including a huge brown at the boulder hole and an even bigger bow above the curve.  Unfortunately while landing the big bow I broke my rod…bummer.  Heading back in the morning to fish the fresh stockers….which by the way are AWESOME.

It snowed

carpto beat the band, but we went to the club any way.

The water color was perfect and the fishing was really good.  Did well above the curve and above the lower quad bridge.

This carp was a lot of fun and the fish of the day.  The big palamino moved down 4 beats in all the high water.  Wonder how the rest of the fish have scattered.

Stocking this Friday.

Still high

but more fishable than the last trip. Caught a biggie above the curve and some smaller ones in between. Al said he did well at the honey bugger hole so I thought I would end the day there. Got two biggies there before we left for home to end the day. Got back early so I could wish my son bon voyage, as he is heading back to Ohio. I am so very very proud of him.

It poured

at the club today, so much we could not fish. Instead we built a fire and shot the breeze. Dan was kind enough to give Al and I some really cool fleece coats and tossel caps honoring the secret hole at Erie. Sean gave me a really nice shadow box and Zach some flies that he tied under Sean’s guidance. Roberta and Krystyn made some delicious food for the annual Christmas eve feast. Wishing you and yours Merry Christmas and peace in the new year.
