Stocking this week

This Friday at 9 a.m. we will stock the first fish of the season.

This is a pic of Steve and Bridgette from November of 07 stocking the club.  The weather is still warm, but the water is cool, though still kinda low.

I hope to fish this weekend.  You know summer is over when we restock and especially when my son, Michael, goes back to school.  Good luck, MG.

New dam

just below the curve.
This is a work in progress to make the world’s greatest hole even greater (if this is possible). Hats off to Steve and the guys at the club for another job well done.
There is still a lot to do, but the work is progressing really well.

Sean’s Fly Box

check out the link to Sean’s Fly Box.

My nephew and fishin’ buddy has a new website. Check it out, and while you’re at it, order some flies from him. He knows how to tie and how to catch fish as well.

You will see the link on my links to the right. You won’t be disappointed.

Paulik

Did not think I would be posting until the fall. But we took our vacation to Hilton Head and hitched up with my old room mate and dear friend, Bob Paulik.
He is a boat captain there and took me out on a kayak fishing trip in the bay behind us.
Sometimes it ain’t about the fishin’ but in the friendships renewed.
Spent a great afternoon just paddling around and b.s.’n about old times and taking the time to forge new ones.
(Man, he sure looks good……thanks, Bob)

Stocked

yesterday after the fish kill.
Steve put in some really nice fish and the guys from Laurel Hill really pulled through again.
Did not go up to fish ’em because I do not want to stress the fish with the warm summer approaching.
You really got to hand it to Steve, Joe, and the YCTC. They really are doing whatever it takes to recover from the fish kill of 3 weeks ago. Come on fall………………..
