If my favorite spot is the boulder hole, this has to be Al’s favorite spot to fish. He caught a 26″ brown in this hole along with several bows in the 20″ range. This pic was taken with the creek being a little on the low side.

The Boulder Hole…My all time favorite place to fish
This is my favorite place to fish on Yellow Creek. I could only guess that there are maybe a hundred or so fish in this 25 yard stretch. When the water is higher the hole is more difficult to fish. Most anglers love this spot, get there early in the day before the other anglers arrive. Try to fish it before the sun shines directly on the water. Some guys call it the swimmin’ hole. It is awesome!
